About

By Brad Brisco

I grew up in Wichita and was in the restaurant business for 13 years. I have an undergraduate degree in health care admin from Wichita State, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree in the area of missional ecclesiology.

I have been involved in church planting for over thirteen years and am currently a church planting strategist for a network of churches in Kansas City, where I recruit, train and coach church planters. I am also on the board of KC SENTral, a missional training center located in Kansas City. KC SENTral is a partnership with KNCSB, Christian & Missionary Alliance, and FORGE America.

Additionally, I enjoy working with existing congregations that desire to more deeply engage God’s mission in a local context. I have taught college level courses for more than ten years, including History of Christianity, Religion in America, Life of Paul, Discipleship and Evangelism and a course on Worship. I am married to Mischele and we have two boys, Joshua and Caleb.

    Hey Brad,

I don’t know how you got across my firewall. It usually weeds out Yankees fans! Totally kidding. 7 is not even close to 26! Thanks for your comment. I know how much it took to commend the Sox. If the time ever comes, I will remember your words and try my hardest to do the same to the Yanks!

    Blessings,

    Art.

Thanks for dropping by my blog… Exponential ’08 was excellent. The main sessions and pre-launch breakout was terrific. I also attended the Creative Communication Pre-Conference intensive with Mark Batterson. Batterson has an amazing intellect and a tremendous heart. God’s best to you and your ministry.

    1) I am looking for Christ followers with a similar conviction in this area (VA). How do I find them?

    2) It seems to me that even in the books and meanderings here, the Church is still the structure and not the people? Why is that? What am I missing?

  15. Mike says:

Brad – Thanks for stopping by my blog. Just posted the other Reggie McNeal video – Thanks! I’m going to send you an email off-line. I have a few questions for you about what you are doing and I want to share with you what I am doing. Peace.
